We are a local firm with a national reach, and we are looking to appoint an ambitious Scottish qualified Employment Law Solicitor (NQ up to 3 years PQE) to join our multi-award-winning employment law team.
Are you a newly qualified employment law solicitor or an employment law solicitor with up to 3 years PQE? Are you agile and adaptable, able to operate in a constantly changing environment? Do you have a methodical thought-process, good reasoning and excellent communication skills? If so, please read on.
The successful candidate will be a Scottish qualified employment law solicitor and will act as first point of contact for clients to provide advice and support on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including disciplinary, grievance, settlement agreements, unfair dismissal, discrimination, restrictive Covenants, TUPE, redundancy and reorganisation including the consultation processes, risk areas, and practicalities.
You will undertake fee earning work, working both independently, with minimal supervision and as a member of the team, draft and prepare employment tribunal claims, employment contracts or other legal documentation and represent clients (individuals and organisations) in Employment Tribunal proceedings, from Acas early conciliation through to representation at full hearings.

You will maintain existing relations with the Company’s clients and to assist and help develop new relationships with third party referrers.
